Obituary

Sherrill Lee "Sherri" (Flock) Ogle, 70, of Greensboro, NC has gone up to The Spirit in the Sky. She was born September 4, 1950 Greensburg, PA a daughter of the late Richard W. Flock and Doris J. Miller Flock. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Jeffreys Manufacturing Solutions in Colfax, NC.
Sherri's blissful inner peace, and spiritual reprieve came from partaking in activities that sparked her light; spending time by the ocean waves, cruising on the back of a Harley, and nurturing the lives of plants. Her thoughtfulness for others led to her creating welding caps for close friends and blankets for nieces and nephews, each gift was specially handmade with much love for the possessor. In later years, she made contributions to Project Linus; spending endless hours creating themed, unique blankets to help kids in need. The love she had for nature guided her to the home in which she retired; here she was surrounded by trees, rejuvenating flowers, and the singing of birds, this was her sanctuary. While touching the lives of others, she shared these and many more joys with her tribe.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Brian Flock; and nephew, Scott Hendrick. She is survived by two sisters and five brothers; Marcia Williamson and husband Rob of Bovard, PA, Doug Flock and wife Diane of Reynoldsville, PA, Jeff Flock and wife Celeste of Bovard, PA, Carol Lynn and husband George of Bovard, PA, Roger Flock of Bovard, PA, Randy Flock and wife Janet of Greensburg, PA, and Curt Flock and wife Pam of Jeanette, PA; two sons R.W. Hellmann of Greensboro, NC, and Ben Hellmann of Austin, TX; two grandchildren Jade and Madison Hellmann of Greensboro, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
